The iMARS project gathers 24 partners from 12 European countries, recognised as leaders of their fields. They are grouped in 3 categories: Academic, Industrial and SME (Small and Medium Enterprises), and Government Agency.
Academic
Our academic partners are renowned European research institutes and universities with State-of-the-Art research capabilities and skills to address key challenges both on the technological and scientific standpoint and on legal, ethical and societal aspects. Their input is key for iMARS to achieve a real breakthrough and ensure that current limitations in image Manipulation Detection and Document Verification Fraud Detection will be overcome in a way that respects and protects human and citizen rights.
Industrial and SME
Our industry partners are world-leaders joining their know-how to develop of a common concept of solutions for image Manipulation Detection and Document Verification Fraud Detection. They help support standardisation and aim to ensure the research efforts will result in applicable, efficient, reliable and low-cost products addressing the challenges faced by practitioners today. In the project, they are also heavily involved in successful project management and project dissemination and communication.
Government Agency
The government agencies are key to ensure that iMARS is user driven. Their input and feedback enable the understanding of needs and the testing and integration of prototypes and solutions. They are Border or Law Enforcement Agencies, Ministries, Security Research Centres, National Security Printing Offices, etc.
